Keep Scotland Beautiful is the charity that campaigns, acts and educates on a range of local, national and global environmental issues to change behaviour and improve the quality of people’s lives and the places they care for.

We are seeking an Education Support Officer to work within our Eco-Schools Scotland programme and Wrigley Litter Less Campaign. Supporting Scotland’s Learning for Sustainability Vision 2030 and the Climate Change Plan, Eco-Schools Scotland is part of an international programme that connects 19.5 million people across 67 countries. It is designed to encourage whole-school community action on Learning for Sustainability encouraging young people to engage in their environment. The programme starts in the classroom and expands to the whole school, eventually fostering change in the community at large.

Litter Less is a Foundation for Environmental Education campaign that we have operated in Scotland for the past six years. The Litter Less Campaign is aimed at reducing litter and encouraging long term behaviour change amongst young people around the world. The campaign is funded by the Wrigley Company Foundation.

The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting large-scale youth focused projects and have worked with assessment quality control systems and processes. In addition, you will have the ability to maintain, interpret and disseminate data and statistical information. You will also have experience of planning, developing and implementing training and working with national or international education frameworks. Ideally, you will also have an understanding of environmental education and community development.
