Role

The Art School is a limited company that operates under the registered charity, Glasgow School of Art Students’ Association. The Art School is home to a 300 capacity cafe bar, a 500 capacity venue and two small project spaces. These spaces currently support a range of activities from both student led and initiated projects, events and exhibitions, to commercial activities.

We are seeking an experienced and confident Interim Operations Manager to take on a 3 month (minimum) interim role during a period of restructuring of the organisation. After undergoing a period of review during this time, the organisation will be in a position to potentially extend this into a permanent contract.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of all aspects of venue management and be able to maintain high levels of customer service throughout their term. You will be expected to ensure the safe management and operation of the building as well as supervision of a large team of staff. Experience in dealing with events and promoters is highly desirable.
