We are an independent, student-led organisation, with a rich and proud heritage. We were founded in 1890, as the Queen Margaret College, with a goal of giving women the opportunity to gain an education – something that was then missing from the academic community. We have a long history of providing activities and events for students of the University of Glasgow.

We are seeking an extremely well-organised and self-motivated individual to develop and drive a culture of outstanding customer service and performance across the organisation. The post holder will design and deliver a programme of engagement opportunities for students to volunteer and work with QMU. They will ensure that QMU’s activities and opportunities are well-communicated and deliver excellent value and impact.
Our ideal candidate will be able to provide the infrastructure to enable all QMU’s services and activities to run smoothly and efficiently and in an impactful way. They will ensure effective planning, performance, governance support, compliance and HR management as well as driving the Union’s work around employability and skills development.
