The Family Wellbeing Service is in an exciting period of growth and development. Over the next three years, in partnership with East Renfrewshire HSCP and The Robertson Trust, we are expanding our service to provide support to families across the whole of East Renfrewshire.
We engage with families to help strengthen their relationships; reduce emotional distress and to enhance their capacity to function more effectively. The team provides intensive, collaborative support; focusing on the family’s strengths and resilience. Relational, restorative and trauma-sensitive practice guides workers to develop a relationship with family members characterised by trust, respect, honesty and open communication where families can then be linked with community-based networks of support.
Working alongside families and the team you will lead on the development of peer support networks; group support for families; enabling families to have their voices heard; recruiting and supporting volunteers and develop new opportunities to enhance links within the local communities.
We are looking with someone who recognises the importance of relationships, in all aspects of the role. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to get alongside children, young people and families to enable them to influence the development of the service.
If you are an experienced professional with a Social Work, Community Work, Counselling or other appropriate qualification, we would like to hear from you.
This is a fixed term, full time 35 hours a week post, funded until 31 May 2022.
