Action on Smoking and Health Scotland (ASH Scotland) is the independent Scottish health charity working for a Scotland free from the harm and inequality caused by tobacco – could you help us to achieve that vision?
Following a restructure, we are seeking to recruit this post to our Policy, Information and Communications Team.
We are keen to hear from experienced researchers who can help support our evidence-based approach to policy and communications. Additionally, this role will be responsible for developing and delivering the information service we provide to partners and other audiences, researching, collating and disseminating information about latest developments in tobacco and other health harming commodities.
The ASH Scotland staff team of 19 employees is based in central Edinburgh. Our work is funded by grants from the Scottish Government, British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research UK and others. Our current organisational strategy prioritises improving mental health, reducing poverty, raising the next generation tobacco-free, culture change and driving action in partnership.
