We have recently been awarded funding from the Aspiring Communities Fund (ACF) with support from the European Social Fund (ESF) to work alongside a number of community groups including Active Communities and YoMo. This consortium will work together to build the skills, knowledge and confidence of local people so they can deliver and sustain new and existing services in Ferguslie Park. As part of our contribution to the work of the consortium, the Tannahill Centre is recruiting a Volunteer Co-ordinator.

As the Volunteer Co-ordinator you will be responsible for building the skills, knowledge and confidence of volunteers so that they can give back to their community whilst also meeting their own personal goals and ambitions.

You will be responsible for implementing policies, procedures and practices within the Tannahill Centre so that those who volunteer with us are doing so in a safe and nurturing environment and you will work with groups and individuals so they can develop and share their skills with their community.

This role is fixed term for 12 months however it is our intention to secure funding to sustain the role beyond this date.
