We have a vacancy for an Independent Living Support Worker to provide holistic, bespoke and person-centred one-to-one and group support to 40 young people aged 15-25 in East Lothian with the aim of:
• Supporting people to thrive within the home environment
• Preventing people from losing their home
• Helping people into a home
The successful candidate will deliver a professional homemaker service to young tenants and prospective young tenants on an outreach and centre basis. The post holder will work with partner agencies to ensure the homemaking needs of young people who are referred in to the service are met and will support young people to develop the skills required to live independently. The post holder will work with colleagues to ensure young people benefit from the range of services and activities within Bridges Project.

You First Advocacy provide an independent professional Advocacy service to a wide range of vulnerable adults in Renfrewshire, who require short-term advocacy to address specific issues arising from health, community care or legal interventions. The service is provided by paid staff and trained volunteers.

Commitment
The board meets quarterly, either face-to-face, via video chat, or as a hybrid of the two.
The duration of Board meetings is usually no longer than 1.5 hours.

Being a trustee is a voluntary role but Bridging the Gap (Glasgow) will cover relevant out-of-pocket travel and other expenses that would allow you to attend meetings.
Aside from the board meeting, additional time consideration should be given to allow for time to read through relevant papers, follow up on any action points, and may involve attending occasional additional meetings, events, or strategy days.

About the Role:

Blue Triangle, along with the ADP and the health and social care partnership are collaborating on a joint project focussed on wellbeing and recovery for supported people in East Ayrshire.
The objective of the project is to support the recovery pathway for individuals who are either exiting residential rehabilitation or community recovery programmes, who are in need of additional support within a housing support environment.
Supported people will enter the service post detox with a view to re-connecting with family, friends and their local communities. They will explore options around education, training, employment and health.

About the Role
You will be responsible for coordinating our Consultation, Collaboration & Training (CCT) programme, which is Tripod’s income generating arm. As a non-profit, we offer training, facilitation,and other support on request to funded organisations using a sliding scale, to enable us to offer support to grassroots groups and movements with fewer financial resources. Due to high demand, one of our areas of focus for the coming years will be anti-racism training for white and mixed-race teams. As a worker-led cooperative, each member of staff also takes responsibility for Tripod’s smooth organisational functioning as we move towards our purpose together.
Co-Directorship
This role will involve an interim period of 8 months. This will be an opportunity for us to review how we have been working together and decide if you and Tripod are a good fit. This will also enable us to decide together if you should become a Full Member of the workers' cooperative which would involve being legally registered as a Director and participating fully in overall strategic and organisational decision making.
UTHEO is a non-profit organisation that provides a range of services within our busy Neighbourhood Centre.
We require a Bookkeeper / Administrator with experience of all aspects of financial management, PAYE, book-keeping, SAGE Accounts, knowledge of payroll and producing accounts to trial balance stage. The post holder will provide administrative support relevant to this position and have a good working knowledge of MS Office packages.
You will have excellent financial, communication, organisational and administrative skills and be educated to an HND level, however appropriate HNC or suitable experience may be given consideration. Candidates will ideally have an understanding of the voluntary sector and charity funding plus an interest in and an understanding of our work.
