You’ll be helping disabled people feel unstoppable. As Senior Trusts and Grants Fundraiser you’ll be right at the heart of our team’s efforts to make sure no one affected by spina bifida or hydrocephalus feels alone.
Every year we need generate over £250,000 in income from Trusts and grant giving bodies to make sure our families get the help they need. Your role will be to generate income from a range of trusts, corporate foundations, and public bodies.

This job exists in order to provide kitchen cover to support the chef to prepare a varied and nutritious diet for ex-service personal who attend the activity Centre. The supply Catering Assistant will also provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment to enable the kitchen to function effectively.

Equate Scotland is a national expert policy, research, development, and advocacy organisation, with a focus on women’s under-representation within the science, engineering, technology, and the built environment industries. The Opportunity
As part of our ongoing focus on the design and delivery of high-quality training to the STEM sector and academia, we are currently recruiting a Training & Engagement Co-ordinator.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to initiate and build positive relationships with employers, trade unions, public sector bodies and education and training institutions across relevant industry sectors, to design/deliver workshops and activities that align to the needs of women in the STEM sector.
You will project manage, co-ordinate and deliver valuable training events including CPD sessions for women, workshops, experiential learning events and employer focused events.
As an ambassador for Gender Equality and using your knowledge of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), you will design and deliver training activities to employers and industry that enables and empowers them to break down barriers and create competent strategies that support a positive and inclusive culture change.
Working closely with the wider team, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality service through providing timely and accurate event planning information including post event follow up information and assessment to be able to report on our key performance measures.

Rock Trust are delighted to be expanding the successful ‘Housing First for Youth’ service into Glasgow. We are looking for a team member who has experience of supporting young vulnerable people accessing our services. The role will involve working intensively with a small caseload of young people to coordinate and provide emotional and practical support.
The Project Worker will work directly with young people to coordinate and provide emotional and practical support on a 1:1 and group basis. Working with young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to ensure that when homelessness can’t be avoided, their experience of homelessness is rare, brief, and non-recurring.
The Project Worker will offer line management, guidance, and support to Support Assistants and volunteers, working together to support young people to return or remain at home, improve their practical independent living skills, set up their own tenancy and access other services and to reach their full potential. Project Workers are responsible for completing support plans and risk assessments and are the main contact for any key people involved in the care and support of young people.

We are looking for an experienced Finance Officer to join our small but busy team based at our National Office in Paisley. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to share and develop your skills while contributing to our mission to ensure that every person in Scotland who is impacted by Huntington’s disease has access to the specialist care and support they need when they need it, regardless of where they live.
Your duties will include a range of finance-related processing tasks, such as income, expenditure and expenses.
With at least two years’ experience in a similar role, you will have a good working knowledge of SAGE Accounts or similar financial software packages. Although no formal qualifications are required, the candidate must have a clear understanding of accountancy principles including journal entries and the prepayments/accruals system. An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Outlook, Word and Teams is also essential.
Training and a full induction programme will be provided, and you will be supplied with a laptop to support hybrid working.
About the role
Reporting to the Senior Finance Officer, the Finance Officer is accountable for delivering an accurate trail of company income and expenditure and is responsible for a variety of activities.
The Finance Officer is a key team member in the operation of our Finance department, based at our National Office in Paisley. After induction and training is completed, the successful candidate must be competent working with minimal supervision in either office or working from home environments.
Key attributes for this position are excellent attention to detail, ability to follow SHA processes/procedures and skills to effectively prioritise workload whist working both methodically and accurately to meet tight deadlines.
