We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Moira Anderson Foundation (MAF), a values-based organisation, that supports children and adults of all genders affected by Childhood Sexual Abuse. We are recruiting an Administrator with excellent inter-personal and organisational skills, to join our existing team at our base in Airdrie. A warm nature and previous admin experience are very important for this role. A sound understanding of the third sector would be beneficial.
This fixed term position is for 28 hours per week, and is funded in part by The National Lottery Community Fund. Days and hours to be negotiated, evening work will be required on a weekly basis.
The salary is £21,840 pro rata, per annum. The post will run until 30 June 2026, on-going funding will be sought to maintain it. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced manager to oversee the day-to-day management of Cruse Scotland West Area, this includes our teams in Ayrshire & Arran; Dumfries; Dunbartonshire; Glasgow & Greater Glasgow; Lanarkshire and Renfrewshire.
Candidates are required to have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to provide managerial support, which is often provided from a distance.
Excellent communication skills are essential as the postholder is required to respond effectively to a wide range of enquiries which includes bereaved people. You will be required to establish effective working relationships with a range of Cruse Scotland volunteers and staff, as well as statutory funders and grant making trusts. Experience of volunteer management would be advantageous.
Due to the wide geographical spread of the role, the postholder will be required to travel occasionally to each of the service bases within our West Area; and to other locations within Scotland for meetings and training.

We are recruiting a Women’s Domestic Abuse Community Worker to support women living in Glasgow’s Northeast and Northwest locality.
It is essential that you have experience of working with women who have experienced gender-based abuse. A suitable qualification that meets with Scottish Social Services Council housing support registration is required. Midlothian Young Peoples Advice Service (MYPAS) promotes the health and wellbeing of young people across East Lothian and Midlothian and currently focuses on working in the areas of mental health and substance use. MYPAS is a community-based organisation with charitable status and based in Dalkeith.
The postholder will be responsible for providing counselling with children and young people aged 10-18 who reside in Midlothian. The postholder will assist in establishing, developing, delivering, evaluating and reporting on, the School Counselling service.
Qualified to Diploma level in a Counselling therapeutic discipline, a member of a recognised professional body (either BACP or COSCA) and have experience of working with children and young people, you will also be committed to delivering a service according to best practice and within community settings.
