Hub Assistant Manager (Retail and Creative)

  • Part time
  • £22,000 pro-rata
  • Glasgow
  • Closing 14th November 2022

We are looking for someone amazing to provide overall management support across all our services (shop and creative workshop, baby microshop and Toy Library), for 23 hours per week. (Three days including Saturdays. Option for one Saturday shift moved to mid-week each month).

This role is a varied and dynamic position which responds to an ever-changing environment in the third sector. It requires someone with strong administration skills and creative vision, who loves community and creating good outcomes for families, children and young people.

Working alongside our Hub General Manager, you will have responsibility for our shops and creative workshop and the development of our staff and volunteers. You will have great leadership skills and a wide and varied experience across both retail and delivering creative activity. You will need to be flexible and decisive when prioritising the day and not be afraid to change the plan!

You will also be very hands on. You need to be organised, great at time management and able to see how to pull the full potential from our community shops and creative workshops, whilst getting stuck into making it happen.

This is a real opportunity to help shape and grow a grass roots community organisation. If you’re up to the challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
