We are looking to recruit a fully qualified Social Worker (DipSW, CQSW, Degree or Msc in Social Work) to join our Family Based Care Team.
We currently operate a hybrid model of working which offers a mix of home and office based working.
The Responsibilities
You will provide high quality individualised support to our foster carers who offer safe and nurturing homes to children and young people. You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of child care and protection practice, legislation and care standards and be committed to multi-agency working to bring about positive outcomes for children and young people.
You must be able to communicate effectively involving carers and young people in decision making processes. You will have the ability to undertake comprehensive assessments within given timescales.
You must be committed to continuous learning and development and be willing to engage in our culture of Growth Mindset.
You must be / or be able to register with the Scottish Social Services Council within a specified timeframe.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made.
We are looking to recruit a Senior Support Worker to join our Family Based Care Team.
We currently operate a hybrid model of working which offers a mix of home and office based working and we flexible working is also available.

The Responsibilities
You will provide a tailored and individualised support package to the young people living with our Foster Carers. You will maintain records and embed best practice and undertake and oversee direct work with the young people, in accordance with the Child’s plan. You will also present views of the young person in formal settings, such as Case Conferences, Hearings and LAC reviews to inform decisions.
You will devise and deliver learning and participation events for the CHT community, encouraging young people to participate in activities through therapeutic interventions such as life story work, outdoor learning and life skills and will have knowledge of the required outcomes for The Promise.
You must be committed to continuous learning and development and be willing to engage in our culture of Growth Mindset.
You must have a degree in Community Learning and Development or Community Education and have experience of guiding and supporting staff.
You must also be able to work evening and weekends as required.
