An exciting new role has been created at Jubilee House. We are looking for someone with passion and experience to join our team as we are currently growing and expanding our services.

Jubilee House is an independent domestic abuse charity situated in the west end of Paisley. We have been operating full time since February 2023, and since then we have developed several new services. We have more in the pipeline. We are client centred and try to find ways to help each individual woman who uses our service. This often involves thinking outside the box. We are also client led in the production of new services.

The ideal candidate would have:

• Experience in working with domestic abuse recovery preferably at management level.
• Hold an SQA qualification in domestic abuse advocacy. (IDAA)
• Have a full UK licence and the use of a car.
• Be willing to go through training to become a Freedom Programme facilitator.
• PVG membership.
• Have a passion and drive to help tackle the problem of domestic abuse in our communities.
• Up to date knowledge of legislation surrounding domestic abuse.

Post open to women only in accordance with Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010.

The successful candidate will work within a progressive, focused team and will participate in increasing and expanding the outreach of our services into the community.

Full induction training will be provided.

We are looking for two new trustees to come on board at an exciting time in our development.

About us

We have built a strong foundation and have started rolling out services from our newly renovated premises in the west end of Paisley. We now need two more trustees who are passionate about helping those affected by domestic abuse and working towards prevention.

Role

The new recruits should be willing to work with the team to facilitate new groups, services, and activities. Ideal skills would be knowledge of charity governance, social work, finance, grants and fundraising, law and strategic organisational growth.
