RASASH is committed to providing person centred, therapeutic emotional support and advocacy for anyone in the Highlands aged 13 or over affected by sexual violence; and to working to prevent and eliminate sexual violence in all forms.

We are currently recruiting a 28 hrs. per week sexual violence prevention and campaigns worker based in Inverness but working throughout Highland.

This post is open to female applicants only as this is deemed to be a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

The postholder will have considerable experience in all aspects of Third Sector finance and will be confident and competent in working with Sage, Excel and other Office software.

There may be opportunity for the postholder to be trained to cover a support-line shift but this will be dependent on the candidate and is not the main focus of the role.

Outreach Support Worker x 2 posts

To provide an outreach support service to survivors of rape, sexual violence and childhood sexual abuse whether recent or historic across Highland. The service will be available to any survivors age 13+ with a focus on access from remote and rural communities. The role will also support non offending family and friends of survivors.

The main purpose of the roles will be to provide emotional therapeutic support to survivors across rural Highland.

2 x 21-hour posts available however, there may be flexibility on hours of work. Applications are therefore welcomed from those wishing to work more or less hours.

These positions are funded through Scottish Government Survivors of Childhood Abuse Fund until March 2024.
