The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Regimental and Museum Trusts are seeking a new CEO to manage their organisation, which includes a 5* rated military museum and a Nationally Significant Collection. Reporting to the Chairs and Trustees of the Regimental and Museum Trusts, the CEO will be principally responsible for:
· Managing the operation of the Regimental Museum in Stirling Castle in coordination with Historic Environment Scotland with whom the Museum Trust has a formal Partnership Agreement.
· Delivering the charitable objectives of the two Trusts in accordance with their Deeds of Trust and respective business plans.
· Acting as the focal point for the coordination of the activities of the two Trusts and liaison with the Regimental Association.
The post holder is principally responsible for the smooth running of the Museum’s support functions, including inbound communications (mail and telephone), maintenance of office equipment, maintenance of personnel attendance and pay records and maintenance of accounting records, including the fundraising database.
The post holder is also responsible for providing administrative support to allocated Regimental functions, including the Ball, Dinner Club and Thin Red Line magazine.
The post holder is further responsible for providing administrative support to the Regimental Association in conjunction with the Secretary and Treasurer of the Regimental Association.
