Regenfx Youth Trust are recruiting for a variety of different posts to expand the staff team. We are looking for two Project Leaders for our award-winning Street Projects, one for the Junior Street (11 – 13yr olds) and one for the Senior Street (14 – 21yr olds). Both Projects deliver a similar programme involving a unique consequential learning programme. The Street uses a blend of youth work and performance arts to support young people achieve positive outcomes for themselves.

You will be joining a skilled, motivated, and supportive team who are committed to helping young people become the best versions of themselves. Your responsibilities will include leading on all aspects of the project including driving forward new developments, providing groupwork and 1:1 support for young people. You will be assisted by a Drama Worker and report to the Service Co-ordinator.

The role is full-time: however, we are willing to consider applicants who would like to work between 28 – 35 hrs per week.

Flexibility will be required with some evening and occasional weekend work being necessary. The Junior Street meets on Tuesday & Wednesday evenings and the Senior Street meets on Monday & Thursday evenings. A full driving licence and access to transport is also required.

We are looking for a senior Service Co-ordinator to join our leadership team responsible for providing quality Youth Work Programmes across South Lanarkshire. You will be joining a skilled, motivated, and supportive team who are committed to helping young people become the best versions of themselves.

This is a diverse role focusing on leading staff and operations for all youth work programmes within the Trust requiring a strong youth work background. You will be directly responsible to the Trust Manager.

The role is full-time; however, we are willing to consider applicants who would like to work between 28 - 35 hours per week. Experience of a similar senior position within a youth work setting is desirable.

Flexibility will be required with some evening and occasional weekend work being necessary, as well as a full driving licence and access to transport.

Job Purpose:

1. Provide leadership, co-ordination and evaluation of all Youth Work Programmes ensuring quality standards are met.

2. Lead on the development of existing and new youth projects that build positively on the Trust’s Youth Work Portfolio.

3. Provide effective operational leadership as a member of the Senior Management Team, contributing to decisions and ensuring a safe operating environment for staff and volunteers.

4. Provide overall line-management support to youth work staff.

5. Co-ordinate the delivery of appropriate youth work training for staff and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the recruitment, retention and development of staff, creating an environment for staff to thrive.

• Represent Regenfx to key stakeholders whilst participating in appropriate working groups, networking forums and strategic meetings.

• Support existing partnerships and develop new opportunities for collaboration that strengthen the youth work sector in South Lanarkshire.

• Develop and implement operational plans, working closely with the Senior Management Team.

Digital/IT Solutions Officer

We are looking for a Digital/IT Solutions Officer to join our staff team responsible for restructuring systems and processes to fully digital and contactless capabilities, ensuring our services can be accessed by young people and staff anytime, anywhere when appropriate.

You will have extensive Digital/IT Solutions experience of 3 years or more with a track record of designing, implementing and monitoring new systems whilst providing staff training. You will support the senior management team directly responsible to Trust Manager to improve our infrastructure.

You will be responsible for the development of a new website/app/social media platforms creating online portals for staff, volunteers and young people that improve communication and instant access to services, tools and resources. Your role will help the Trust achieve a wider reach and efficient systems fit for purpose.

Experience of youth work is desirable as some of the solutions will be driven by the volunteers and young people who use our services, therefore consultation and creative ways to include them will be expected.

Sessional Youth Workers x 8

You will work as part of our Youth Work Team to deliver a wide range of youth activity programmes that will including sport, outdoor learning, creative opportunities, school holiday programmes, outreach and detached work designed to positively impact on young people’s lives.

You should have a genuine interest in Youth Work, excellent communication skills and be able to build positive relationships with young people and their families. You will motivate young people to participate in positive leisure time activities and pursue opportunities that lead them to being empowered.

RADWORX Action Sports Instructor (Skateboarding, BMXING or Scootering)

We are looking for Skateboard, BMX and Scooter Instructors to join our RADWORX ACTION SPORTS TEAM this summer. We need people efficient in one of the wheeled sports mentioned and capable of teaching groups of 8 – 16yr olds in their chosen sport. Each group lesson last 2hrs.

We need Instructors who can communicate at all levels with young people, parents and wider staff team. You must have patience and can motivate and support young people whilst giving clear instructions and leading the sessions.

You should have all round knowledge on your chosen sport including service and repair of equipment.

You will be given some training and expected to be professional at all times adhering to RADWORX policies and ensuring safety of participants whilst under instruction.

You will work as part of a team and be supported by the Radworx Co-ordinator.
