Craigshill Good Neighbour Network (CGNN) was set up in 1983 to provide locally based support and practical help to members of the community who were lonely, housebound or otherwise unable to cope alone. The main aim of the organisation was to provide a network of volunteers who would befriend and offer support in time of need, offering respite to carers in times of crisis and generally encourage the concept of being a good neighbour.
The role of the Fundraising Manager is to work with the CEO to develop a Funding Strategy to support the work and vision of the charity.
This community-based charity provides practical support, a range of social group activities and volunteering opportunities with the aim of reducing social isolation and loneliness.
The Fundraising Manager will identify grant-makers, corporate charity partner opportunities and other fundraising initiatives to maximise its income. This will include crowdfunding and fundraising events.
They will develop funding proposals and prepare financial reports for grant making Trusts and Foundations.
