BTA (Bruce Tait Associates) are delighted to be working with St Margaret of Scotland Hospice to recruit two Senior Fundraisers.
St Margaret of Scotland Hospice is the oldest and largest non-denominational hospice in Scotland. It offers compassionate and dignified care to patients with advanced, life-limiting illnesses and to those with complex medical and nursing needs.
The Hospice is dedicated to its inclusive core values and prides itself on being “open to all in need of care”. It offers an extensive range of facilities to the local and wider community including Edwina Bradley Day Hospice, out-patient facilities, community palliative care and counselling services.
The Hospice is introducing two new Senior Fundraiser roles to work collaboratively to further develop its growing portfolio of events and fundraising income. You will work alongside an established, wider hospice team and will have the opportunity to use your creativity, experience and confidence to build on existing fundraising activity and develop entirely new areas of income generation.
Working with the other Senior Fundraiser, you will implement new ideas and strategies to increase awareness of the organisation, its impact and its core values. You will be an energetic, positive and flexible individual who is able to hit the ground running and deliver effective fundraising across many income streams including corporate, community, trusts and foundations, individual giving and campaigns, whilst supporting the charity’s existing lottery scheme. Your experience will complement that of the other Senior Fundraiser, therefore, you do not necessarily need to have experience of all income streams.
The Hospice would also welcome applications from candidates with exceptional income generation and relationship building experience who would like to adapt their skills to a role in the third sector.
To support your fundraising activity, you will be confident at delivering marketing and communication strategies. You will have excellent communication, writing and presentation skills and be comfortable with representing St Margaret of Scotland Hospice in all settings.
This is a rare opportunity to develop your skills across a varied portfolio of income streams whilst increasing income and awareness for this fantastic organisation.
