Administrative Officer (Kingdom Works)

Kingdom Housing Association provides housing and support throughout East Central Scotland. Our Kingdom Works Service aims to raise the employability skills of unemployed Fife residents. We offer our clients tailored support to find suitable routes into employment and training, careers information, advice and guidance. We also work with a range of employers to develop customised packages to suit their business needs in order to recruit and train individuals.

About the Role

We are looking for a customer focused and motivated individual to join our Kingdom Works Team.

As one of our Administrative Officers, you will provide a range of administrative support, including maintaining client databases, processing funding claims and be the first point of contact for our customers.

This post is a fixed term contract for 2 years.

About You:

You will have proven administrative experience and be proficient in using customised databases and software packages such as Google Suite.

You must have excellent customer service skills, be a confident communicator and a positive and supportive team contributor. It is essential that you have the ability to plan and organise your workload whilst working to tight deadlines.

You will be required to complete a satisfactory Basic Police Act Disclosure Scotland check.

Employability Officer

About the Role

We are recruiting an Employability Officer who will contribute to raising the employability skills of unemployed residents of Fife, who are seeking to enter, or re - enter employment or training opportunities.

You will provide a range of advice and guidance to clients and liaise with employers and training providers, on behalf of these clients, to identify opportunities to help them progress towards employment.

You will work with a range of partners within Fife ETC (Fife Employment and Training Consortium) and assist with the delivery of Employability Fund Stage 4.

This post is a fixed term contract for 2 years.

About You:

You should have relevant experience working in employability support, with a good knowledge and understanding of the range of issues and barriers unemployed clients face. You should have up to date knowledge of employability funding sources and compliance conditions and programme rules, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills, particularly in developing relationships with employers and external agencies.

You will need to have a driving licence and access to a car for business use.

You will be required to complete a satisfactory Basic Police Act Disclosure Scotland check.
