PACE is a youth arts organisation that specialises in working with young people aged from 3-21 years. We offer a varied and year-long programme of workshops and masterclasses as well as our ‘Fest’ programme which offers performing arts experiences for young people during school holidays. We also offer a programme of professional theatre for young people, theatre in schools as well as our annual pantomime at Paisley Arts Centre. Overall, it is our aim is to create an inclusive and welcoming environment in which young people can thrive.

Fundraising Manager

Funded by Renfrewshire Leisure Cultural Organisation Development Fund, PACE Theatre Company are seeking to recruit a part time Fundraising Manager (22.5 hrs) initially for 36 months with the possibility of extension subject to funding.

This post is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to contribute to our ambitious development plans, including our new capital project – a dedicated children and young people’s theatre venue. PACE is a fun and vibrant place to work with a wide variety of different projects taking place for young people in the arts.

Working closely with the Chief Executive, the Fundraising Manager is responsible for implementing an effective and innovative fundraising plan to help PACE achieve several key aims:

  • Support the creation of a new theatre space dedicated to promoting and developing theatre for children, young people and families in Renfrewshire
  • Pursue funding for projects and sustainable infrastructure which will assist PACE to achieve its mission of allowing as many young people as possible to benefit socially, educationally and culturally from a varied programme of high-quality performing arts experiences
  • Increase participation from young people in areas of deprivation, young people with additional support needs, and those from underrepresented groups
  • Expand the quality of our creative activities and expand its impact nationally

The role will involve making relevant funding applications to public and private sources, develop corporate partnerships and coordinate campaigns, fundraising events and appeals. Cultivate and maintain a range of positive and dynamic relationships with funders, major donors, sponsors and supporters to secure different kinds of financial support for the organisation.
