About Officers Association Scotland

Officers Association Scotland is a military charity, established in 1920, to provide support to serving or former military officers and their dependents. While originally a welfare charity, OA Scotland has developed, so that it now provides a comprehensive employment advice service along with welfare and financial support to individuals and grants to other charities.

Purpose of the Role

The primary responsibility of the Head of Employment Services is to develop, manage and deliver a high quality, individually tailored employment service to transitioning military personnel. They will also establish and nurture relationships with a wide range of employers, head-hunters and recruitment consultants across Scotland to recognise the value of military personnel in the commercial world. You will have a clear vision for our employment strategy and will bring creativity, passion and dedication to find a better way in how we deliver our services. You must be creative, forward thinking and want to challenge the traditional way to enjoy this role and our culture
