We are currently looking for new Members to join our voluntary Board, which provide leadership and support to the Association’s staff. We need people who can lead make sure that we continue to provide good quality housing and services which help improve people’s lives and the well-being of local communities.
We are particularly interested to hear from people with skills, knowledge or experience in Housing Management & Support, Customer Service, Communication/Publicity, Community Engagement, Finance and Treasury or Third Sector experience. Joining our Boards could help you take the next step in your career and will make a big difference to your life: you will learn new skills and make a valuable contribution to the wellbeing of others.
Manor will offer you comprehensive induction programme. You will be supported to attend external conferences and events and to make sure you are getting the support you need there will be a review each year. The positions on our Board are voluntary but we pay reasonable out of pocket expenses.
The Association and its subsidiary currently own and manage 1100 social and 80 mid–market rent properties, as well as providing factoring services to 1700 owners operating throughout Edinburgh. We also have a small number of properties in Fife

Manor Estates Housing Association is an Edinburgh based charitable organisation committed to providing good quality affordable housing. We manage over 1000 tenanted properties and provide factoring services to over 1700 residents.
A vacancy has arisen within our busy Property Services team for a part time Property Services Administrator - Factoring. Reporting to the Property Services Manager, and as part of a team of 11, you will be responsible for
providing a high quality administration service to customers in the delivery of an effective Property Services function, assisting in the delivery of innovative and effective Factoring Services ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practice. You will provide excellent customer service and act as a first point of contact in respect of all Factoring enquiries. You will prepare information, letters and reports for both the Factoring Coordinator and your team manager.
