GEMAP Scotland and the Glasgow Violence Against Women Partnership, are pleased to welcome applications for our new financially included project.
The project is a 2 year funded programme from the Delivering Equally Safe Fund and we are seeking highly motivated individuals to help us create collaborations between the Advice and Women’s services sectors to develop a whole system solution in supporting women and girls who are or have experienced financial abuse.
If you are driven, committed and passionate about helping women and girls to achieve financial independence from coercive circumstances then we want to hear from you.
Our team needs to be creative, collaborative and understand the power of partnerships in finding solutions, challenging norms, and developing systems to support a sustainable framework for tackling financial abuse.

GEMAP are seeking an experienced Money Advice Worker to support clients to maximise incomes, reduce household costs and cope with unmanageable debt.
You should be conversant with all relevant legislation and practice in the fields of Money Advice and Welfare Rights and understand the principles of Financial Capability.
Candidates with experience with Housing issues are welcome to apply
You will have knowledge of the Scottish National Standards for Information and advice and be capable of managing a significant caseload in line with the standards.

You will be driven; passionate, have excellent teamwork, communication and organisational skills, be computer literate with a commitment to continuous improvement and a commitment to equality and diversity.
