The Group is governed by a voluntary Board and we are currently looking to strengthen our overall governance arrangements through the appointment of new Board Members, whose skills and knowledge will help to shape our strategic direction.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills, independence of thought and an ability to challenge constructively whilst making balanced and informed decisions.

Knowledge of social housing is desirable but not essential, however, experience of working collaboratively at a strategic level would certainly be beneficial.

To support our ambitions for growth and meet the aspirations held by the Group, we are currently recruiting for an Engagement Officer to join our Investors in People Platinum award-winning team.

The successful candidate will have a professional qualification in housing/customer service or a comparable level of experience in a similar environment. In addition, they will also be able to demonstrate:

• A passion for customer participation and community involvement and the ability to facilitate meaningful engagement with both these and other stakeholders
• Experience of planning, co-ordinating and delivering events, from conception to realisation
• An aptitude for data analysis and the desire to use the learnings from this to facilitate continuous improvement and the ongoing evolution of services
• Experience of managing complex complaints and the associated processes effectively, efficiently and within set timeframes
• The ability to working collaboratively and professionally with both internal colleagues and external organisations

Experience of managing funding applications would also be beneficial but is not essential.
