After School Club Manager

Polbeth Community HUB SCIO is a registered charity which is developing an after-school club service for children up to the age of 14 within the Fauldhouse and Breich Valley Ward. We are currently seeking to recruit a dynamic, experienced and enthusiastic manager to join our team.

You will work directly with the HUB Manager and Trustees to create and deliver a provision for children from age 4 to 14, providing them with an exciting programme of play opportunities.

Knowledge of Care Inspectorate and Health and Social Care Standards is essential. We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, good IT skills, and has experience in leading and motivating a staff team.

The salary is £21450 per annum, pro-rata for 20 hours per week during term time.

The successful applicant will be required to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme, register with the SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council) and provide 2 written references.

Community Development Worker

The Community Development worker will assist the local community to identify and develop responses to issues which affect their lives. They will develop and facilitate effective community engagement which results in genuine community influence and contribute to responses to key policy initiatives, opportunities and locally defined issues. Whilst ensuring Polbeth Community HUB SCIO works towards its vision of eradicating poverty within the village and assisting individuals in reaching their full potential.

This is a fixed time post for 3 years from the start date of employment and is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.
