As one of Scotland’s largest Home-Starts, we currently support many families across the North of Glasgow and North Lanarkshire and there is increasing demand for us to do more.

To meet this need, we are now looking forward to welcoming additional staff who have the passion, vision and enthusiasm to complement our current North Lanarkshire team based in Bellshill.

Key responsibilities -

· Highly organised and experienced in the administration of a busy office environment and knowledge of Microsoft Office packages

· Excellent written and spoken communication skills

· A positive team player with the ability to work using your own initiative

Family Support Co-ordinator

Key responsibilities -

  • Recruiting, training and supporting volunteers to provide practical and emotional support to families in their own homes.
  • Be trained to deliver Video Interaction Guidance, a form of family therapy where parents are guided to reflect on clips of their own positive interactions with their children.
  • Have the experience, confidence and knowledge to work alongside families with an excellent understanding of child development and the needs of families with young children.
  • Driving licence and own car required.
