Levenmouth Foodbank Community Support Project was set up in 2013 by Local Churches in response to local need as part of the Trussell Trust national franchise network of foodbanks. A Christian ethos is central to the work of the project. Current operations include:
We are looking to appoint new Trustees who have good business experience with a particular interest in HR/Managing people and Funding. Prospective applicants are expected to be aware of Charity Trustee legal duties and responsibilities. Training is available to develop personal skills.
Meetings are held bi-monthly and situations arise in which Trustees may be called upon to perform additional tasks.
It is expected that candidates have excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills with good teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
Board membership is not a remunerated position, however, expenses necessarily incurred in performing Board duties will be reimbursed.
