Every week, we encourage our students to build confidence, use imagination and develop life skills through music, drama, art and other expressive and physical activities.

We are seeking to recruit a variety of staff, with a range of skills and experience. We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with skills/ interest in IT, Drama, Music and Cafe work.

The role includes supporting students in workshops and working one to one with students, and facilitating workshops. The role also involves supporting people with personal care, as and when required.

We are recruiting for full time staff who can work 30 hours a week, between the hours of 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

Upmo is a Living Wage Employer; the rate of pay for this role is £9.60 per hour.

In this position, you will lead the development and management of Upmo Eat, our cafe that enables our students, adults with learning disabilities and autism, to gain employment skills in the catering and hospitality sector.

This full-time role will manage external collaborations and undertake a detailed assessment of existing and future opportunities for Upmo Eat. The aim is to derive a sustainable income stream that will directly support the charity’s core objectives through our Social Enterprise.

Curriculum Development Manager

Upmo has an exciting opportunity for a Curriculum Development Manager to join our team.

This role will support the creation and installation of a new and enhanced curriculum to provide a positive education experience as well as meaningful outcomes for our students. The Curriculum Development Manager will provide hands-on support to our facilitators, offering advice and training to develop skills within our team.

We are seeking to recruit a variety of staff, with a range of skills and experience – a background in teaching or facilitating, especially in music, drama, IT/digital skills and the creative arts, is especially desirable.

The role includes supporting students in workshops and working one to one with students, and facilitating workshops. The role also involves supporting people with personal care, as and when required.

We are recruiting for full time (minimum 30 hours per week; up to 35 hours available) posts. Upmo is a Living Wage Employer; the rate of pay for this role is £9.60 p/h.
