The Junction are seeking to employ a Finance Officer/Bookkeeper to join our team. Our current bookkeeper who has been with the organisation for over 5 years is leaving. We are looking to employ someone as a contractor who has experience of preparing management accounts, either qualified by experience or someone who has a relevant qualification or working towards CIMA/ACCA.

We are looking for an experienced young person’s Counsellor for a maternity cover role. The role will provide trauma informed counselling with young people aged 12-21 accessing The Junctions nested provision model. A key focus of this role will be supporting young people in response to the trauma and impact of Coronavirus.
The Junction is an award-winning charity that takes a holistic approach towards young people’s health and well-being. We work with 12-21 year olds in North East Edinburgh doing one-to-one support, counselling, creative projects and more.
We are looking for committed individuals to join the board of trustees. If you have time, are willing to ask questions and share our values of equality, transparency and community then we would love to hear from you. We are particularly looking for people with previous Board, Finance, Counselling and/or Social Work, Human Resources experience. Duties/tasks for the year include:
• Attend 4 board meetings
• Attend or dial-in to 4 informal meetings with board members
• Contribute to a sub-group that meets roughly 4 times - a team of staff and board members
• Attend 2 Development Days with staff and/or trustees (usually but not always a Saturday in Spring and Autumn)
