CashBack Gateway to Employment Employability Advisor

Reporting to the Senior Delivery Manager, this is a key role within Celtic FC Foundation based at Celtic Park, Glasgow. You will be an integral part of our CashBack Gateway to Employment Project working closely with colleagues and participants whilst maintaining the upmost integrity and confidentiality at all times.

Key accountabilities:

· Engaging and recruiting project participants

· Supporting participants and developing their skills through 1:2:1 interaction

· Being a positive role model for participants and guiding them towards positive destinations, such as volunteering, training and employment

· Promoting key areas of the project such as improving Health, promoting Equality, encouraging Learning and tackling Poverty

· Ensuring that all paperwork is complete in line with specific deadlines

· Working within the agreed project budget and towards set targets

· Managing relationships with funders, delivery partners and participants

· Ensuring safeguarding procedures are adhered to by all delivery staff

· Promoting the ethos and aims of Celtic FC Foundation

· Attending events and meetings as directed by the Line Manager to provide support to Celtic FC Foundation’s Project team

· Liaising with Celtic FC Foundation’s operations department

· Key administrative duties

The successful candidate will have at least two years’ experience working within a Community Development or Employability environment. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, who can demonstrate flexibility and commitment to this role. Strong people management and interpersonal skills. A passion for working within communities is essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are also a requirement. The post holder will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the many issues faced by young people from a variety of backgrounds, in particular young offenders, and have the experience and ability to identify solutions that will support our participants going forward. A good knowledge of Microsoft Office & Full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.
