EARS is an independent advocacy service that has been providing advocacy to people in Edinburgh and the Lothians since 1999. Originally called as the Edinburgh Advocacy & Representation Service, it was funded to provide free, one to one independent advocacy for older people in Edinburgh and later in West, Mid and East Lothian. Over the years it has developed into a service that now provides independent advocacy to a range of people.

Independent Advocate for Older People (28 hours) salary £23,080 (£18,464 pro rata). The post will be served by the EARS Edinburgh office.

This post - initially to June 2020 - will provide an independent advocacy service to older people and, when and where required, to people with a physical disability in East Lothian.
