Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire is recruiting a new Volunteering Officer to develop and support volunteering across North Lanarkshire on two key projects with opportunities to link both.
1. Youth Volunteering as part of North Lanarkshire Council’s Youth Guarantee Programme. The purpose of this project is to help identify and match up to 25 unemployed young people into volunteering roles for up to 6-months so they gain skills and experience that will help them transition into paid work, education or training.
2. Green Health Volunteering as part of Lanarkshire’s Green Health Partnership. The purpose of this project is to increase the number of green health volunteering opportunities and number of volunteers in North Lanarkshire.
