As an integral part of Volunteer Glasgow’s Engagement and Inclusion Team, the successful candidate will be required to support and advise local people looking to identify and access suitable volunteering opportunities using our digital volunteering platform. They will also contribute to the promotion of volunteering and its benefits to the people of Glasgow, particularly those from groups traditionally under-represented in volunteering.
Candidates should have good communication skills, including use of social media, and be able to demonstrate experience of supporting vulnerable groups and individuals as well as a firm commitment to equality of opportunity for all.
This post is initially temporary until 30th September 2020 but Volunteer Glasgow continually seeks to identify and secure resources and partnerships which will allow us to both maintain and further develop the high-quality services we offer.
Volunteer Glasgow is committed to equality of opportunity for all and improving diversity at all levels of the organisation and would particularly welcome applications from disabled and Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) candidates as these groups are currently under-represented in our organisation.
Please complete and return the forms to email@example.com not later than 2pm, Friday 26th June 2020. Interviews will be held on Friday 3rd July 2020. Please note that interviews will be held via Zoom.
