If you’re passionate about improving the wellbeing of those affected by cancer then we would like to hear from you. We are on the lookout for two individuals to join our Board of Trustees.

We are an ambitious Scottish charity, with a proud history of supporting the mental and physical health of anyone affected by cancer. Our purpose has always been to help people cope with what cancer means to them, in a way that works for them. That has been never more prevalent than during the last 12 months.

As a dynamic, forward thinking charity, we are keen to hear from people across Scotland who will bring a different perspective and skills to Cancer Support Scotland. We are particularly keen to hear from individuals with a background in working in the third sector and income generation.

Volunteer & Service Coordinator

Cancer Support Scotland is looking for a motivated, committed and highly organised individual who will join our team as Volunteer & Services Coordinator. This individual will be responsible for all volunteer recruitment, induction, training, ongoing support, activities, along with the design and dissemination of volunteer newsletters and policies as well and supporting our here for You programme. The Volunteer & Services Coordinator will be key in supporting our service volunteers across the country.

The Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2years+ experience of managing/ supporting volunteers in a similar role, with experience of recruiting, training and supporting volunteers as well as Student placements, as well as Sound knowledge of relevant policy and procedures for volunteering roles.

We are looking for several part time counsellors to take up a new post in our team.

This will have a massive impact on the wellbeing of those affected by cancer across Scotland as we are able to open our telephone and digital counselling service wider and support more people during this difficult time.

These role offers flexible working opportunities, 17.5hrs per week and we are keen to hear from candidates across Scotland as home working is available.
