Project Workers

Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund for the next 2 years UPTY? uses video conferencing to bring people who have a learning disability together to take part in a range of activities, like arts and crafts, bingo nights, mental health and wellbeing groups, photography, tea parties etc. The project will be shaped and steered by the people taking part. A menu of activities will take place throughout the day, night and weekend.

We are recruiting for 2 project workers to set up and make this project a success initially on a 2 years fixed term basis. Previous experience in this type of role would be advantageous. The salary rage for these positions is £19,500 to £24,000.

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic and creative individuals to manage this exciting and ground-breaking project. The successful candidate will need to have excellent organisational and planning skills along with the ability to develop connections with local businesses and create a welcoming and inclusive environment for people with learning disabilities.

Please note that due to COVID this role will initial involve working from home but will be office based following this.
