C-Change was founded in 2001 and having always championed Self-Directed Support, the organisation provides outcome focused personalised support that is creative and flexible, adapting to the changing needs of the individual. C-Change supports people that have learning disabilities, mental health issues and other additional support needs to have real positive change in their lives regardless of their age or circumstances. Our work is based on a Human Rights Approach, empowering people to live their life to its fullest potential whilst being active citizens within their community.

Support Advisor (Social Care Leader) in West Lothian

The Brief: You will be part of a team of front line managers (Support Advisors), you will manage the development workers who are supporting people to live their good lives. You will walk alongside the people we work for to ensure that they receive a high quality service and are supported to achieve their aspirations and be active citizens in their communities. You will be an integral part of developing the C-Change business and strategic outcomes in the West Lothian area.

About you: You are creative, motivated and confident with a ‘can do approach’. You are able to work autonomously and collaboratively in line with C-Change’s aims, ethos and values. You are also approachable and inclusive in your practice.

Your Skills: You are able to manage teams and support them to realise the aspirations of the people they work for. It is essential that you have demonstrated effective communication, IT skills, planning & prioritising, relationship building and multi-disciplinary partnership working skills.
