Participation and Training Officer

The Scottish Youth Parliament is seeking a Participation and Training Officer to support and contribute to the work of SYP. The successful candidate will deliver the participation and training work of the Scottish Youth Parliament and the Elections 2019.

Bookkeeper/Finance Officer

The Scottish Youth Parliament is seeking a Finance Officer/Bookkeeper to support and contribute to the work of SYP. The successful candidate will lead on the financial management, reporting and control of the organisation.

We would like the successful candidate to start as of the new financial year.

Communications Officer

We are excited to announce the opportunity for a Communications Officer to join the SYP team.

The Communications Officer is responsible for all external and internal communications at SYP including delivering on SYP’s communications with key internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all communications made under the SYP banner are on message and in line with current policy.

Reports to: Chief Executive (with reporting lines to the Policy and Public Affairs Manager)

Contract: Fixed Term until 31st March 2022 (our core funding agreement is until March 2022, should our core funding be awarded for subsequent years, the contract will be extended or made permanent.

We are excited to announce the opportunity for a Participation and Training Officer to join the SYP team.

Working within SYPs youth led structure, this role will be to lead on the delivery of our participation and training across the organisation. Including supporting Members of the Scottish Youth Parliament, support workers, SYP Staff and other key stakeholders and delivering on the next Scottish Youth Parliament Elections.

This post is subject to membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme.

Reports to: Deputy Chief Executive
