EAUC Scotland Senior Sustainability Project Officer

The UK's sustainability alliance of universities and colleges, the EAUC, has a unique opportunity to join their Scotland Team. Are you that person?

You will be a vital senior member of the small and dynamic EAUC-Scotland Team, within a new role to support the EAUC to realise its ambitious plans in Scotland.

With a high level of demonstrable knowledge and understanding of sustainable development issues and project management experience, you will lead on strategic projects, resource production, EAUC-Scotland network meetings & events, and policy engagement work to enhance engagement with sustainability topics by staff working in different roles in Scotland’s universities and colleges. You will also have line management responsibility for 2 members of the team.

With strong written and verbal communication skills and a personable manner, as well as experience communicating with others with varying priorities and perspectives about sustainability topics, you will be capable of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders both one-to-one and through group meetings, training delivery, workshops and presentations to advance the sustainability of Scotland’s further and higher education sector.

Finally, you will be flexible and happy to work with colleagues to support wider organisation activities and targets as outlined in the EAUC’s Strategic Plan and EAUC-Scotland’s Outcome Agreement with the Scottish Funding Council.
