We have 2 x full time (35 hours per week) vacancies for an experienced support worker within our team on an exciting new project in partnership with East Lothian Council and East Lothian Housing Association. The postholder will provide intensive housing support work to women subjected to domestic abuse who are also dealing with addiction and/or mental ill health. We are looking for enthusiastic feminists who share our core values. You will be expected to demonstrate a gender-based and trauma-informed approach to service delivery and will be expected to take a multi-agency approach to your work.

Candidates ideally have a minimum of 2 years work experience within the violence against women or housing/homelessness field. Membership of the PVG scheme is an essential requirement and you should be qualified to meet requirements of SSSC Housing Support Worker registration.

This post is available on a fixed term until 31st March 2023, extension of this role will be reliant on securing continued funding.

Travel across East Lothian and Midlothian is required therefore a full current driving licence and constant access to a car is essential.

We have a full time post (35 hours per week) vacancy for an experienced support worker within our team to deliver individual and group work support to children and young people. We are looking for enthusiastic feminists who share our core values. You will be expected to demonstrate a gender-based and trauma-informed approach to service delivery and will be expected to take a multi-agency approach to your work.

Candidates ideally have a minimum of 2 years work experience within the violence against women or similar field. Membership of the PVG scheme is an essential requirement and you should be qualified to a minimum of SVQ 3 in children’s care, learning and development.

This post is available on a fixed term until 30th September 2021 with possible extension.
