This exciting role is comprised of two distinct parts, Secretariat to the Scottish Fundraising Standards Panel and as Administrative Officer for the Institute of Fundraising in Scotland. We’re looking for a highly organised multi-tasker who can think on their feet. It’s important that the post holder can work with sensitive information, understands Scotland’s third sector, and can work closely with a range of colleagues and stakeholders.
As Panel Secretariat, you’ll provide administrative support for the panel ensuring the smooth handling of events and helping to promote the role and work of the Panel. In your role as Administrative Officer with the IoF, you will support the delivery of IoF Scotland’s strategy, ensuring the smooth delivery of our day-to-day activities, including a range of events.
The Scottish Fundraising Standards Panel was established for the purposes of overseeing enhanced self-regulation of fundraising in Scotland, to be responsible for fundraising standards in Scotland and to handle fundraising complaints related to Scottish registered charities.
The Institute of Fundraising Scotland is the professional membership body representing fundraisers. We provide training for fundraisers, policy guidance, networking and events for charities to share best practice. We champion excellent fundraising with the public, media and sector stakeholders, developing policy in the voluntary sector arena, and reacting swiftly to issues affecting the fundraising environment in Scotland.
