Internship Programme Manager

We are looking for an experienced leader with a support/HR/employability or similar background to continue the development and growth of the highly successful “WeCanWork” National Disability Internship Programme, which we deliver with funding from Scottish Government. The programme creates and supports paid internship work placements for disabled people across a variety of employers, offering learning to both intern and employer.

Inclusion Scotland is a rapidly expanding organisation with a strong reputation for influencing public policy, and for developing disabled people as leaders and change makers in employment and civic participation. You will lead the Programme, including the delivery of the main established (voluntary, public and political sectors) internships, and will line manage the Employment Officer who is leading on the development and delivery of a recent private sector expansion to the programme. You will also line manage the Employment Worker who supports the programme. You will be supported and managed by a Team Manager with whom you will work to secure the longer term future of the programme.

Interviews are to be held in Edinburgh on Wednesday 20th February. If needed we can offer options for remote participation (e.g. Skype).

Communications and Information Worker

We are looking for a new team member who will support all of our projects and core work with communications, primarily social media and designing materials, leaflets, etc. The role also takes primary responsibility for handling incoming communications from members of the public and other organisations, including our general enquiries phone line and email address. You will help refer incoming callers to the right staff member or signpost to other external sources of advice (we do not currently offer a general advice service), as well as helping our projects to achieve their goals through reaching the right audiences. This role is suitable for someone with some relevant experience with appropriate software and public-facing communications who is seeking to gain broader professional experience.

Finance and Accounts Admin

We are looking for a skilled finance administration professional with experience in using the Sage accounting system to provide primary administration of our accounts system, invoice processing and payments. You will ensure accurate recording and handling of day-to-day financial transactions and internal accounting for a growing charity, produce regular project reports and accounts statements, and also be responsible for providing support to management and project lead staff around interpreting and responding to financial reports, preparing budgets and identifying where changes may be needed.
