We are seeking a highly motivated, confident and enthusiastic individual with an active commitment to personalisation. The successful candidate will be involved in providing direct support and front line management of services to individuals with a variety of complex support needs including young people.

Applicants must be experienced practitioners in social care and must be able to;

  • Make a commitment to individuals, enabling each person to live a fulfilled life and achieve their dreams and aspirations.
  • Work positively and flexibly as part of a large and busy team.
  • Keep teams positive and support people through their more difficult times.
  • Work with others to assist in harnessing community assets and maximising independence for people.
  • Be flexible in your day to day work, prioritising and delegating effectively.
  • Be able to commit to your own ongoing learning and development.

This post will include providing an element of direct support to individuals and direct line management of small teams. The post includes evening and weekend working, sleep over provision as well as some support to workers out with “normal working hours”.

Community Development Worker (SDS)

The Advisory Group is an independent charity, promoting the rights of people with disabilities.

Thanks to a Scottish Government grant we are looking to appoint a Development Worker to promote and support people to access Self-Directed Support across Stirling and Clackmannanshire.

This is a full time post (35 hours per week), funded until March 2021.

This exciting initiative will work closely with people who use support services, their families, support providers and the local HSCP to:

· Explore the options of SDS

· Explore what’s available in the wider community

· Develop sustainable initiatives that are accessible to all

· Forge partnership working across the area

Have access to a suitable vehicle during working hours and either hold a valid current driving licence or be able to make alternative arrangements.

Housing Services Officer

Key is both a Registered Social Landlord and one of Scotland leading providers of care and support to people with disabilities. We are seeking to appoint a talented individual within our housing function who will take forward a diverse and challenging workload.

The main components of the post will focus on the improvement of our business systems, communication and engagement with tenants, and meeting the requirements of our regulators.

This post is full time and will be based in Glasgow with occasional travel and evening work.
