Fife Gingerbread supports lone parent, vulnerable and disadvantaged families across Fife. We help those who need help most, and give a voice to those who are not heard. Our ethos is Engage - Support - Progress, working holistically and at a pace that suits the parent and family. In 2017 we reached 30 years of helping families, in that time going from a grassroots organisation to the largest independent families and children support charity in Fife. We actively seek and plug gaps in local provision through various projects, with alleviating child poverty at the core of our work.

Employability & Progression Manager (Maternity Cover)

Fife Gingerbread is looking for someone with energy, commitment, and proven people and organisation skills as well as experience of first stage engagement in employability, families and children, and volunteer development to cover post holder’s maternity leave.

Our people are crucial to our continued success and you will have a proven track record in successful people and project management.

Experienced in securing funding, monitoring and reporting, you will enable vulnerable families in Fife to benefit from our unique brand of employability and volunteering support.

It's vital that you can use your initiative, share our vision and values and be familiar with Fifes employability framework. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills and a personality that enables you to effectively shape and develop partnership working.

The project is in partnership with other organisations, and has been delivered in Fife since 2013. We are working to support lone parents towards employment, delivering a person centred holistic approach.
