Workshop Support Workers
Bakery:part-time 15 hrs per week Monday and Tuesday*
Confectionary: part-time 15 hrs per week Thursday and Friday*
* NOTE: These positions may suit one suitably skilled applicant, and may be combined to give one part-time position (29 hours per week)
We are looking for suitably skilled applicants with some experience of working alongside adults with additional needs. In these busy roles, staff require creativity and empathy, supporting our members to learn, bake and realise their potential as skilled bakers and confectioners.
A driving licence is desirable, but not essential for both roles.
We are offering a new challenge to an experienced worker in social care. You will be assisting in the management of a service that supports adults with learning disabilities to work in a creative environment producing beautiful, handcrafted products.
The post is based at Gorgie Workshops in Edinburgh.
At Waterside Workshops in Edinburgh we are looking for an experienced individual to provide administrative and secretarial support to the Day Service Manager and Workshop staff and assist with general organisational activities, as well as supporting members within the building or workshops on occasions.
