Fast Forward is recruiting a new Chief Executive

Would you like the opportunity to lead an established and respected national organisation which plays a key role in promoting the health and wellbeing of young people in Scotland?

This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced professional who is highly motivated to lead and develop Fast Forward on a national scale following the retirement of the current post holder.

You will be a dynamic leader who will maintain the momentum of Fast Forward’s varied project work, consolidate our position as a leading provider in informal education approaches to health and wellbeing, and provide sound strategic and financial direction. You will be a person with enthusiasm, determination, vision and excellent team building skills. We will expect you to provide confident engagement with our funding partners and stakeholders, creating trust and giving clarity to our vision and mission.

Support Officer (Maternity Cover, 1 year fixed-term contract)

Fast Forward is a national charity, leading the Gambling Education Hub: Scotland’s only national gambling education and prevention programme. We have been awarded funding by GambleAware to further develop our existing Gambling Education programme, which has been promoting youth gambling education and prevention across Scotland since 2016. This project adopts a training the trainers’ approach, while developing resources that professionals can use in a range of education and health settings.

The work of the Support Officer will include assisting the Project Officers with partnership building with national organisations, the development of the Gambling Education Network, data processing for monitoring and evaluation and the maintenance and further development of the online Gambling Education Toolkit.

This post is a Maternity Cover, for a 1 year fixed term period. The post holder will be part of a vibrant team with a supportive and dedicated workplace culture.
