Birthlink is a small city based charity helping adults affected by adoption with a Scottish connection. We are currently also working in partnership with Future Pathways assisting survivors of in care abuse access their care records and support the reading of these documents.
The senior administrator will be responsible for primarily supporting the Office & Business manager, one other administrator and 5 social work staff. In addition we have two charity shops with permanent and sessional staff along with many Volunteers throughout the organisation.
Administrative and financial experience is essential. Relevant further education qualifications in administration, Microsoft Office and databases are desirable although consideration will be given to applicants who can demonstrate experience and ability in these fields. A good telephone manner is essential as is the ability to relate readily and quickly to a wide range of different individuals, service users, volunteers and colleagues.
