Operations Manager

Established in 1978, Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre (ERCC) provides a support, information and advocacy service for women, non-binary people, members of the trans community and young people aged 12 and over in Edinburgh, East and Midlothian who have experienced recent and/or historic sexual violence, including rape, sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse and commercial sexual exploitation.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team. The post-holder will implement key elements of ERCC’s service delivery plan, including:

· Owning and having overall line management responsibility for all front-line service delivery staff and teams, and demonstrating high quality leadership and management;

· Ensuring all processes and elements of operational service delivery are managed and implemented for the benefit of our service users to the highest levels;

· Ensuring a trauma-informed approach shapes and informs ERCC service design and operational delivery, and that staff well-being is at the heart of this approach.

This post is funded by the Scottish Government until 30 June 2019, with an extension confirmed in principle to 30 June 2020.

Senior Support Worker and Counsellor

Established in 1978, Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre (ERCC) provides a support, information and advocacy service for women, non-binary people, members of the trans community and young people aged 12 and over in Edinburgh, East and Midlothian who have experienced recent and/or historic sexual violence, including rape, sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse and commercial sexual exploitation.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Support Worker and Counsellor (28 hours per week) to join our team based in Edinburgh. The post-holder will deliver direct counselling support and advocacy for survivors of sexual violence and also line-manage and supervise a small team of support and advocacy workers.

This post is funded by the Edinburgh Integration Joint Board until March 2022.

Sexual Violence Prevention Worker (West Lothian)

Established in 1978, Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre (ERCC) provides a support, information and advocacy service for women, non-binary people, members of the trans community and young people aged 12 and over in Edinburgh, East and Midlothian who have experienced recent and/or historic sexual violence, including rape, sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse and commercial sexual exploitation. We also work in schools and with young people across Edinburgh and the Lothians, and strategically with multi-agency partners, towards preventing sexual violence.

We are looking for a motivated Sexual Violence Prevention Worker to deliver interventions to young people in West Lothian on consent and healthy sexual relationships, and to develop local strategic approaches to sexual violence prevention. The post is part of the national sexual violence prevention project coordinated by Rape Crisis Scotland.

Counselling Support Worker

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Counselling Support Worker to deliver our SIA project for Minority Ethnic women, non-binary people and members of the trans community who have experienced sexual violence, and also contribute to delivery of our core Edinburgh support service.
