For some, the Groups are perhaps the only place they can meet people and socialise; for others, they are a chance to help and show what they can do. The cooked meal at the end of the morning is a definite draw for most!

We are an established Mental Health Charity and a Company Limited by Guarantee with a network of self-help groups throughout Fife. The aim of this service is to support people to pursue their chosen vocational, educational, occupational, social and recreational goals within their local communities.

There are 4 elements to the Service:

  • Working with groups of people around a shared activity
  • Open access drop-ins
  • Supporting service users in the development of individual support/recovery plans.
  • Mental health promotion and community development work.

Job Purpose: -

a) Responsible for management of all administration and petty cash systems within Express Group on a day to day basis in conjunction and under the guidance of the Service Manager.

b) Provide overall administrative support to Service staff and volunteers using all available technology and resources

c) Ensure all administrative and statistical procedures are carried out to the highest standard using all available resources.

d) Provide first point of contact to clients telephoning and / or visiting the organization for assistance and dealing with their enquiries in an appropriate manner.

e) Responsible for ensuring all bills/invoices are paid via online banking.

Qualifications - HNC/D Level in Business Administration or equivalent

Appointments will be subject to successful applicants either currently being or becoming members of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG Scheme).
