Our Youth Coordinators will support children and young people who have a learning disability to become active, confident members of their community by supporting them to utilise public transport and develop their peer networking skills.

About The Role
Due to significant growth we are recruiting for a Contracts Manager across Lanarkshire and the West.
Your role, as an ENABLE Works Contract Manager, will be to manage the delivery, performance and compliance of multiple contracts across your region.
You will be responsible for all contract management and delivery of outcomes and income across the programmes in your region; key to this will be developing positive professional relationships with our delivery teams and stakeholders in each area.
You will be responsible for all programme monitoring, ensuring accurate tracking of all performance. You will be required to provide this, in line with funder expectations, to your regional Operations Manager and will be required to attend and contribute to regular leadership meetings.
You will work closely with our delivery teams and will be responsible for driving performance and compliance in-line with contractual targets. You will ensure a positive experience of our provision for both our clients and stakeholders.

Your job will support people who have learning disabilities to make progress towards and achieve employment. The Regional Administration Manager will be responsible for supporting our Services team who deliver direct services to people with learning disabilities. The nature of the role is diverse and highly autonomous. Acting as key business partner to the Regional Manager and Services Managers, the post holder will manage day to day administration management functions, whilst aligning to a shared vision with the operations management; enabling the deliver high quality services to people we support.
MAIN DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Systems and Processes
- Support Regional and Services Managers in the ongoing delivery of high quality support services, supported by policies, procedures, processes and systems.
- Work in partnership with Central Service Teams and other Regional Administration Managers across Enable Scotland to embed good practice, adopt new ways of working, while striving to improve how the organisation operates utilising real time information.
- Manage external agency / partner relationships in respect to progress reporting.
Facility Management
- Manage all Health & Safety requirements throughout office base(s) in line with organisational policy
- Manage all facility functions, including maintenance and utilities
- Act as lead partner in contract negotiation and management, in line with legal team and contract procedure
- Ensure all sites are presentable, fit for purpose and well utilised by staff and visitors
Finance
- Manage disaster recovery and business continuity planning and deployment within each associated site
- Manage office facility budget, ensuring spend is continuously in line with financial plan and affordability
- Manage local bank account and office petty cash controls and reconciliation process
- Manage Appointee audits process
- Maintain financial support audits on individuals who receive partial and full financial supports
- Ongoing maintenance of individual budgets (ISFs) , working with Finance and Services colleagues to ensure that these are “real time”.
Administration Line Management
- Manage, support, mentor and develop administration staff across region
- Actively conduct support and supervision process (INSPIRE), in line with the organisations People Plan
- Ensure all administrative staff are performing and leading on areas of responsibility appropriately
- Manage and maintain appropriate staffing compliment, ensuring effective and efficient support levels are provided at all times
- Manage staff absence and training in line with organisational policies
General Responsibilities
- Assist the region and organisation in meeting organisational objectives
- Know and understand the needs of our organisation and customers
- Implement proactive, well structured initiatives and solutions

Working on our Stepping Up schools programme across Edinburgh, you will be responsible for developing positive relationships with the programme participants, their circles of support, our local school partners and other professional support services. You will also deliver a remote virtual service to Western Isles schools and be expected to travel to those schools on a quarterly basis to provide in person sessions also.
You will work closely with local schools and strategic partners, including employers, funders and other stakeholders, developing professional relationships that will offer a diverse range of experiences and opportunities.

Your role, as an ENABLE Works Contract Manager, will be to manage the delivery of our employability contracts in Lanarkshire and the West with travel to Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire.

ENABLE Works are the leading Scottish organisation delivering high quality employability services for people who have disabilities, and other complex barriers to employment.
We are looking for an Employment Coordinator to work on the Fair Start Scotland, national employability programme in Renfrewshire , supporting a range of participants in their journey towards, and into, employment. You will work closely with a large group of clients each year, profiling their skills and jointly planning activity that will enable them to achieve their work goals, upskill through training and support, and achieve progressions into employment, before continuing to support those individuals for up to a year in work.
You will have significant working knowledge of the local area and key employability stakeholders and sectors, as well as having a strong understanding of the local labour market and employer requirements.
You will be responsible for developing positive relationships with the programme participants, their circles of support and professional support services.
You will work closely with local partners, including employers, funders and other stakeholders, developing professional relationships that will offer a diverse range of experiences and opportunities.
You will be given a work plan to achieve in order that programme participants are receiving a quality service and we are achieving the expectations of funders and stakeholders, and you will be required to meet challenging, but achievable, programme KDIs.
You will be an important member of the wider ENABLE Works team, supporting departmental objectives through delivery of support but also through positive collaboration and innovation within your team to support our strategic, societal goals.

You will be part of a team of Personal Assistants supporting people in their new homes to form a community of adults who have a range of support needs, including Learning Disabilities and Autism. Support can range from providing personal care to helping them access their local community. Each person will have their own team with opportunities to tap into adhoc support when required. This modern development will use the latest technology to assist people to maintain independence and support them in the transition into their first home. You will form part of a vibrant team making a real difference to lives of the people you support.

Bernie requires support with all aspects of her care including personal care and household tasks, as well as support to maintain her health and wellbeing. Sheloves home cooked mealswith mince or stew and potatoes being amongst her favourites, therefore having an interest in cooking would be an advantage. Bernie has many interests including listening to music or joining in when people are singing, particularly if it is one of her favourite nursery rhymes or traditional Scottish songs. She loves going out to feed the ducks, spending time in the garden and having her nails painted. She also has a fascination with balloons, especially when they burst, so be expected for a few frights.
Ellie enjoys playing games like Dominoes and Snakes and Ladders, being able to bake and cook, and be active in her community with a purpose. Ellie is also very creative and loves to draw, paint and colouring in. She likes to sing and dance, she likes all kinds of music but her favourite singer is Kylie. Ellie will often start singing songs that she makes up on the spot which can be about anything such as ASDA or chocolate but they are always catchy! Ellie has a good sense of humour and likes to chance her luck with people as she finds it hilarious, she loves the song 'Rhythm is a dancer' except she sings 'Ellie is a chancer'
Jamie enjoys going to the park for long walks and adventures, swimming, bowling and museums. He has many interests and will give things a try even if it is just once. Some of his interests include enjoying music and will participating inmusical activities. He also enjoys sensory and messy play, arts and crafts and baking and cooking. He likes going to large soft play areas and jumping on the trampoline and also likes the sensory feel of water. Jamie is also very good with animals. Jamie requires support with all aspects of his care including personal care and household tasks. He also requires support to maintain his health and wellbeing including management of his diabetes.
Dave has many interests and will give new things a try, even if it is just once. Some of his interests include horse riding, bowling, messy play and watching football matches on the TV. He also loves watching games shows, Disney, action packed movies and Glasgow based comedies including ‘Still Game’. He also likes listening to loud music, whether it be heavy metal, opera or people playing instruments. Dave requires support with all aspects of his care including personal care and household tasks, as well as support to maintain his health and wellbeing. He loves home cooked mealsand especially likes spicy foods and curries, therefore having an interest in cooking would be an advantage.
Sadly, it’s not always possible for Bernie, Ellie, Jamie and Dave to enjoy what many people would consider these ‘simple pleasures’ without proper, dedicated support.That is why they need you! Will you bringyourbestso that they can livetheirbestlives?
