Fife Women’s Aid are looking for a Children and Young People’s Support Workers for 9 months to cover maternity leave. This role provides practical and emotional support to children and young people with experience of domestic abuse. Candidates should have a good understanding of domestic abuse, have experience in providing direct support and have excellent communication skills. The successful applicants will have at least SVQ Level III or equivalent level of qualification in childcare or other relevant subject, or equivalent experience and willingness to work towards a qualification.
The successful applicants will be able to demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation and have the ability to work as part of a team. They will also have a passion for improving the lives of women and children who have experienced abuse.
The post will be based in Glenrothes and will involve travel across all areas of Fife.

Based in Glenrothes you will provide comprehensive administrative support to FWA workers, management and Board Members and assist with the day to day running of a busy office. General duties include: Assisting with HR processes, using internal database systems to maintain files, dealing with calls and providing a friendly reception to visitors. Applicants should be computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office and have excellent communication skills.
Based in the Glenrothes area to provide a deep cleaning and setup service for both temporary accommodation and offices.
2 years’ experience of commercial cleaning essential.
Travelling throughout Fife on a regular basis - access to own transport essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading on the implementation of Fife Women’s Aid Strategic Plan in conjunction with the Board of Trustees and the staff team.
