Following on from a restructure Fife Women’s Aid are looking for an experienced Manager who is committed to ensuring the delivery of high quality services to women, children and young people with experience of domestic abuse.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading on the implementation of Fife Women’s Aid Strategic Plan in conjunction with the Board of Trustees and the staff team.

Applicants should have 2 years management experience within a senior role, have an understanding about the causes and effects of domestic abuse and be committed to working towards a society free from abuse.

The post will be based in Glenrothes and will involve travel across all areas of Fife.

Children & Young People’s Support Worker x 2

Fife Women’s Aid are looking for two Children and Young People’s Support Workers to provide practical and emotional support to children and young people with experience of domestic abuse. Candidates should have a good understanding of domestic abuse, have experience in providing direct support and have excellent communication skills. The successful applicants will have at least SVQ Level III or equivalent level of qualification in childcare or other relevant subject, or equivalent experience and willingness to work towards a qualification.

The successful applicants will be able to demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation and have the ability to work as part of a team. They will also have a passion for improving the lives of women and children who have experienced abuse.

The post will be based in Glenrothes and will involve travel across all areas of Fife.

Fife Women’s Aid have recently reviewed their management structure and are looking to recruit an Operational Lead.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic person to take on the role of Operational Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the day to day delivery of services to women, children and young people affected by Domestic Abuse. This role will be responsible for ensuring that services are monitored and evaluated and that services are developed and are provided in a consistent, effective and responsive way services to women, children and young people. The successful candidate will be qualified to the level required to register as a Manager of a Housing Support Service with the SSSC or be committed to working towards this, they will have good leadership skills with experience of managing and developing teams and individuals and knowledge of the causes and effects of domestic abuse and understanding of a feminist approach to domestic abuse.
