Team Manager - Community Planning Organisational Development

Monitoring & Communications Officer

FORT Coordinator

To improve coordination and access to family support services in Dundee by creating a collaborative network of community, voluntary and statutory providers.

This is an exciting opportunity to help take forward a priority for Dundee Partnership in ensuring children and families have easy and quick access for advice, help and support when they need it. We are looking for someone who can help us take forward this new approach, to lead on co-coordinating and enhancing awareness, access and provision of services across the 3rd sector and partners.

Alongside developing this pathway, a new system (FORT Fast online Referral and Tracking) has been commissioned to support and enable delivery of the project, offering one point of access to referrals, tracking and monitoring.

We are looking for a creative person who understands the voluntary and statutory sector and is passionate about building positive working relationships. The post holder will be supported by the project partners DVA, Barnardo’s, Action for Children and Advice Infrastructure (FORT developers)

Our expanding Mental Health Engagement and Involvement Team has the following vacancy for highly motivated and talented individual who is passionate about involving people in shaping the issues that impact their lives. The team works to ensure that people with lived experience of mental health challenges and third sector organisations working with them are actively involved in making Dundee a City of Recovery.

You will promote the active involvement of people who have experience of mental health conditions in the planning, development and evaluation of services by developing reference groups/panels and undertaking outreach work in local communities. You will involve network members to play an active role in the delivery of drop in sessions.

Dundee Voluntary Action is a leading, trusted and flourishing organisation, working to make a difference to lives of people and communities in the city.

You will be highly motivated with a passion for charity governance and supporting organisational development in the third sector. Working primarily with smaller charities undertaking our foundation governance programme, you will support the recruitment, programme participation, and assessment of charities across Scotland. You will provide participants with advice and guidance to improve their governance and organisational management, through online feedback as well as by telephone and in person. You will also help promote the governance programmes and maintain resources for participants.

The post holder should be educated to degree level or relevant qualification or have 5 year’s minimum proven experience of working in third sector organisational development, particularly in supporting charity governance.
